| Hydro-Quip Inc. the leading supplier of heaters to the jetted bath industry
has produced a new consumer brochure. Intended to help showroom sales personnel
educate prospective buyers on the value of adding a heater to their jetted
tub purchase, it informs consumers that contrary to being a luxury “add-on”
bath heaters save water, energy and actually provide cost savings. In a major consumer survey conducted by the Whirlpool Corporation for its Cielo brand jetted tub line, bath water becoming cold too quickly was sited as one of the primary “dislikes” of jetted bath users. “This brochure helps validate what many good sales associates are already telling their clients” sites Rick MacNeal, Hydro-Quip’s V.P. Sales & Marketing for the wholesale bath division “but people are more naturally convinced by information they see in writing”. Designed for use in promoting any of the jetted tubs manufactured that offer Hydro-Quip heaters as original equipment, the brochure coins the phrase “Certified Real Heat” to distinguish it’s 100% efficiency from some alternative technologies that offer less satisfactory performance. The Hydro-Quip name is not mentioned on the brochure. “We wanted a tool that would be a benefit to all our OEM customers as well as our distribution and showroom segments” states Frank Briese, the company’s V.P.
